    Luisa from San Salvador Asked

We are going to be visiting Disney Hollywood Studios on December 2019. My 6 years old son is a huge fan of Star Wars, can he attend the park wearing a costume of Darth Vader?

Hi there, Luisa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and ask another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!

Your son is in for quite a treat during your 2019 visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios! Beginning August 29th, 2019, Guests will be able to explore the planet of Batuu by visiting Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! In the very near future, you and your family will be able to sample the local cuisine, interact with characters that inhabit The Black Spire Outpost, and even pilot the Millennium Falcon on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

There are some rules for the little ones when visiting the parks in costumes! Certain masks may be worn by children 13 years and younger, however, the child's eyes must be visible while wearing their mask. This is to make sure that children have unobstructed vision during their visit and enjoy their time in the parks with as few accidents as possible! So, just be sure that your son's Darth Vader mask does not obstruct his vision and that his eyes are visible. As long as these criteria are met, he should have no problem dressing up as his favorite Sith Lord!

I hope you and your family have a fantastic time visiting a galaxy far, far away! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
