    Jacqui from NJ Asked

Hi, We will be visiting Disney the first week of November, Epcot will be in the midst of their food and wine festival during our visit. We would like to just visit the park as usual without the purchase of the extra event ticket, will this be possible?

    Hi Jacqui,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort at a wonderful time of year! You may still be able to catch the Fall decorations at the Parks and also see some of the holiday decor going up towards the end of your visit! The weather is also great at this time of year too; not too hot during the day and cooler but still comfortable in the evenings.

You'll be glad to know that you do not need to purchase an extra event ticket to enjoy Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Presented by Chase, all you need is valid Theme Park admission. You can choose to visit the Park as you normally would or you can stroll through World Showcase and sample delicious menu items from over 30 global marketplaces. (food samples are not included and need to be purchased as you would any regular food item at the Parks) While most Festival events are included with admission to the Park, there are some experiences that require a separate purchase or a separate admission fee. Throughout the Festival, you'll also get to enjoy the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. Popular bands from the 80's and 90's take the stage at the American Gardens Theater in the American Adventure Pavilion to share some of their greatest hits with the crowds! The concerts are free with Epcot admission and take place three times per evening.

I hope this information helps. Please stop back by should you have any additional vacation planning questions!

    Magical Wishes,
    Susan
