We are visiting Disney at the end of January with my 3 year old and my entire family. We are slightly worried about wait times for rides, especially ones over an hour. Are you able to wait in line and then have your toddler join you at the front?

    Hi Erin,

Hooray for a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort in a few weeks! The end of January may be cold but you will see lower crowds than other times of the year.

Waiting with a three year old or a thirty year old can be tough. Most of the queues are inside the attraction and cannot be entered at the last minute. My family has been visiting since my daughters were two and four. We played games in the queue like I Spy, sang songs and brought snacks in case we were waiting and it was almost meal time when they were that age. Also, crayons, paper and small books were a big help. We still play games in the line even though they are 18 and 20!

You also want to use My Disney Experience to monitor wait times at attractions and shows to reduce the time you are in line. Some of the lines are interactive which makes waiting easier.

Schedule your FastPass+ to help keep the wait times shorter.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
