    Anna from GA Asked

We will be visiting Disney for our children's 2nd and 4th b-day's in Dec. We are planning to celebrate their b-days during lunch at Crystal Palace. We are considering ordering a Mickey cake. How large are these cakes? Will we be stuck carrying cake all day

Hey Anna!  Happy happy birthday and yes the Mickey cake is phenomenal.  It's a big cake but, honestly, I think it might be the best birthday cake I have ever had!  I am not sure what resort you are staying in for your WDW vacation, but I did actually take mine back to the room.  We are a family of 5 and we did not make a dent in the cake.  I think we ate one ear at dinner!  I then ate it the next morning for breakfast.  Yes only at WDW!
You know it might even be worth it to ask if the CP can hold the cake until the end of the day.  I would ask this question when I ordered it from the cake hotline.  If not, I do hate to admit that there would be no way to carry it around and you would truly not want to waste that much cake by leaving it at the CP.
I really hope this works out for you because it is quite tasty and a perfect way to end a birthday meal.  Thanks for your great question and for coming to the Mom's Panel.
