We will be visiting Disney (ASM) for the 4th of July for 7nights with our 6yr old son and 4yr old daughter. Which dinning experiences would you recommend would like to see all princesses for her and Mickey and other characters for him (on a budget)

    Hi Daniel!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

In my experience, Chef Mickey's, at Disney's Contemporary Resort, is the best character meal where you will meet Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald.  This is a fun, lively dining event, and children love it!  The character will all visit with your table for photos, autographs and interaction with your family.  Another chance to meet Mickey would be The Garden Grill, at Epcot, where Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale will join in the fun - this restaurant rotates very very slowly, you hardly notice it, except that your scenery keeps changing!  If you visit Tusker House for Donald's Safari Breakfast (at Disney's Animal Kingdom), you could meet Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Mickey.

Princesses can be found at Cinderella's Royal Table (located inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom park).  You will meet with Cinderella for photos before you are shown to your dining table, and then several other Disney princesses will visit with your family.  If you are looking for a more affordable Princess dining experience you could try Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot.

Dining reservations can be made online
, or by calling (407) 939 3463 up to 180 days ahead of time.

I hope your children have a wonderful time meeting their favourite characters, and if you have any other questions about planning your magical vacation, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you.
