We are visiting in December with our 2 year old twins! I know they do not need tickets to get into the park or for rides, but for a fast pass, do parents need to get them in order for them to ride?

    Hi Courtney,

Your trip is coming up so soon - you must be getting very excited! Do check out this website for Walt Disney World with little ones. It has many great tips and tricks for planning your magical vacation with your little ones.

You are correct that 2-year-old children do not need theme park tickets nor Disney FastPass+ selections for visiting Walt Disney World. You do not need to make Disney FastPass+ selections for children under 3 years old. Adults and older children riding with the 2-year-olds will need Disney FastPass+ selections for attractions that you wish to experience using Disney FastPass+ service. For example, if you want to experience Peter Pan's Flight, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid one day at Magic Kingdom, you need to go ahead and make those Disney FastPass+ selections for the adults and children ages 3 years old and up in your party. Then, when you go to use your Disney FastPass+ selections, your 2-year-old children will be able to go with you.

I do suggest that you go ahead and make those Disney FastPass+ selections before you leave home. To do so, be sure that you have your theme park tickets linked in your My Disney Experience account. Making these before you leave home means that you will be more likely to secure the attractions and times that you want.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Courtney! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
