Visiting in 29 days! ADR for dinner: Crystal Palace, Cape May, Hollywood & Vine and Akershus. Breakfast at Tusker. Have ADR for dinner at Chef Mickey's, wondering if we should change. Heard it's loud and very similar to others we've reserved. Thoughts?

    Hi Deborah!

Character dining is one of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World!  Chef Mickey's is my favorite because I love visiting with the classic characters like Mickey, Minnie and Goofy and I love being a monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom.

The only overlap in characters for dinner you have is between Chef Mickey's and Cape May Cafe.  I haven't really noticed any of the character restaurants being excessively loud.  At Chef Mickey's, you do have the monorail that runs right past the restaurant, but this is added entertainment for my kids.  I think your reservations are perfect.  Changing any of them is entirely up to you.

If you are looking to swap a character dinner with something else, I highly recommend 'Ohana.  It is my favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World!

    Have a magical day!
