While visiting castaway cay, I want to snorkel and view a coral reef. Which excursion would allow me to see a reef?

Welcome aboard, Sherri! You're about to visit one of my favorite beaches in the entire world: Castaway Cay! Disney's private island in the Bahamas has so much to offer! I can't wait to go back again, and I know you'll really enjoy your visit there as well!

If you're looking to visit a beautiful coral reef with lots of sea life while you're at Castaway Cay, check out the Seahorse Catamaran Snorkel Adventure. You'll board a catamaran to sail to the Abaco area, just a bit away from Castaway Cay. This adventure includes 75 minutes of snorkeling time, and with the crystal clear water, you'll be able to see so many beautiful fish along that coral reef.

If you're looking for a snorkeling adventure that is longer and visits an even more remote and beautiful location, check out the Rigid Hull Snorkeling Excursion. You'll enjoy 90 minutes of snorkeling in a more shallow water reef, which usually means you can view more exotic fish up close!

Back on Castaway Cay itself, there is a Snorkel Lagoon just off of Family Beach. While it's not as much of a reef as the others, there are still a variety of fish to see and Disney has hidden some surprises under the waves too. If you're on the hunt for Hidden Mickey's you won't want to miss snorkeling out there. My family and I love snorkeling there because we can spend as much or as little time snorkeling as we'd like before heading back to the beach.

All three offer different prices, so check out the details and costs and book the one that is right for your family! Have fun planning, Sherri!
