Hi we are visiting the Bahamas for one day and I'm completely stuck in choosing what to do the choices are, Atlantis beach day, Blue lagoon beach day or Balmoral beach day, pleeease help me, you're comments would appreciated. Thanks

    Welcome back, Mark!

My family and I have cruised with Disney to Nassau in the Bahamas many times and always enjoy our days there. We've been to both Atlantis and Blue Lagoon, so I have some suggestions for you. If you're looking for a relaxing day and a gorgeous beach for the day, I'd definitely choose either Blue Lagoon or Balmoral Beach. The Atlantis Beach Day is nice, but it's a busy place with lots to explore, and has many other guests there, as the resort is absolutely huge. If you're set on exploring the Atlantis Resort, go for it, but the beach itself is not as beautiful or relaxing as the others.

Balmoral is going to be your best option of you want a low key day, with optional water activities, and a pool to enjoy. The scenery there is truly amazing too! But, Blue Lagoon has got to be my favorite spot in Nassau. You'll walk with your tour group to the end of the cruise dock and then board a double decker water ferry that will take you to the island. The ride is wonderful! Once there, so much is included! Walk around the dolphin area where other guests may be swimming with dolphins (I highly recommend this Port Adventure too!), and then settle down on the beach in the chairs or hammocks. Plus, if you have kids, they'll love the youth activities that are hosted throughout the day too. My family and I love Blue Lagoon because it feels a world away, so we can truly relax and unwind, but there is enough activity available to keep us busy and the kids engaged too!

I hope those details and suggestions help as you get ready to book your Port Adventures, Mark!
