    Gillian Asked

We will be visiting from Aug 25-Sep 1 with my 7 year old daughter. Cirque du Soleil: La Numba and/or Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical?? Should I really try to do both or could you recommend one over the other? Much appreciated!

    Hi Gillian,

I like both of these experiences and our daughters saw both at that age. However, they are different experiences so it is up to you on what you would want your daughter to experience. I will say we usually only do one extra experience a trip if this helps.

The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a fun, interactive dinner show. Housed in Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness, this show will have you singing, maybe dancing and laughing a whole lot. There is unlimited supply of food and drink and you may be part of the show.

La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil is an acrobatic show. The feats the cast members do is amazing and it is an artistic show. There is dance, gymnastics, bicycles and juggling in this show.

Unless your daughter is into the arts, dance or gymnastics, I would go with the Hoop-Dee-Doo over La Nouba. I think an older child might appreciate it more.

    Have a magical vacation!
