    Jeremy Asked

Hi we are visiting from the 11th April, what time do Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom open to general public? Thanks.

    Hi Jeremy,

Are you getting SO excited for your trip? It will be here before you know it!

I just checked the park hours for you, and it looks like both Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom are currently scheduled to open at 9:00 a.m. Eastern time on the date you were asking about, April 11th. Since park hours are subject to change, I encourage you to keep watching online or on the My Disney Experience app to make sure that stays current. I would suggest arriving about 30-45 minutes before opening if you choose Disney's Animal Kingdom and about an hour before opening at Magic Kingdom Park. This will allow you time to go through security and ticketing and be ready for the magic to begin as soon as the park opens! If you decide to visit Magic Kingdom Park first, the Let the Magic Begin opening show is the perfect way to start your day!

My family is usually able to experience several attractions with very little wait times first thing in the morning, and then we begin using our scheduled FastPass+ selections later in the morning. I'd definitely encourage you to take advantage of that service! It is complimentary for all Guests, and once you've enjoyed the three attractions you chose ahead of time, you'll be able to use the My Disney Experience app or an in-park kiosk to add additional selections, one at a time, as long as they're available for the day. That will save you a lot of time waiting in lines!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jeremy, and have a truly magical vacation!
