Visiting April 29th-May1. Wed and Fri planning to visit Magic Kingdom. Which fast passes should we use for 5yrB and 4yrG? It's our 1st time. Thursday, trying to decided between Disney Waterpark or another park. Is the waterpark open then? Is it heated?

Hello, Christina! You must be getting so excited about your family's first visit to Walt Disney World! There are so many wonderful FastPass+ attractions to choose from at Magic Kingdom Park. Have you had a chance to familiarize yourself with the official Walt Disney World website? You can see a list of all attractions for each theme park, and even get your kids in on the planning by having them pick out a favorite ride or attraction. You can use the Wish List feature to organize your family's favorites, and then pick your FastPass+ attractions from there.

My own top picks for preschool-aged children at Magic Kingdom Park are Enchanted Tales with Belle, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Anna and Elsa meet 'n' greet at Princess Fairytale Hall, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (height requirement of 38 inches or taller to ride). You will find that some rides have interactive line queues, and may not be a great use of FastPass+ if your children can handle a bit of a wait. Peter Pan's Flight and Dumbo the Flying Elephant are two attractions that have really fun line queues, so if you choose to pass up on the FastPass+ opportunity for these rides, make sure to visit them first thing in the morning for a relatively short wait time.

You mentioned in your question that you are considering a visit to one of the splashtastic Disney Water Parks. Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park are a lot of fun for the entire family. Florida is quite warm in the springtime, so you can expect the water to be warm and the air to be hot during your visit.

I hope that you have a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation, Christina! If you have any additional questions about the Disney Water Parks, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. Hope to see ya real soon!
