We are going to be visiting the Animal Kingdom on April 15. Right now the calendar does not show the Festival of the Lion King, does that mean it will not being on that day or is it still just too early to tell?

    Hi there Allison!

Disney doesn't publish times and dates for some of their shows. This must be one of those times! I did check a non-Disney website which lists the times for all of the parks at the Walt Disney World resort. The best site that I have found is "pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares". This is an example:

FESTIVAL OF THE LION KING at Lion King Theater
It's a high energy, tribal celebration of song, dance, and acrobatics with your favorite Lion King friends.
(Arrive 30 minutes prior to show)
    10:00 & 11:00am, 12:00, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 & 4:30pm
Wednesday also 6:00pm for Extra Magic Hours

As always, check the Times Guide when you arrive at the parks for character appearance locations, parades, rides, and show times. I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
