Visiting AKV last week of Feb 09 then 1 week at Vero Beach follows.........activities to keep 6&4 yr busy at Vero Beach.....I'm concerned that it will be a let down after week at Disney. This is our second trip to DW but first to Vero Beach any advice

    Hi Wade,

I've been dreaming of another vacation at Disney's Vero Beach Resort....

In my opinion, you will appreciate the ability to choose from dozens of daily activities or choose to do nothing!  It is a wonderful place to vacation that allows you to be as busy as you and your children want to be.

They offer a lot of activities for children and families such as arts and crafts, sports, games, beach walks and my kids favorite, mini-golf.  They will provide you with a guide to the daily activities to help you choose what will work for your family.  They have a really fun sing-along family campfire with S'mores that you shouldn't miss...just be sure to bring some bug repellant!

One of our favorite things was taking a short drive north (maybe 10-15 minutes) to the Sebastian Inlet State Park.  It was a wonderful place for the kids to swim in the calm ocean inlet waters, we even saw a manatee!

I hope this is helpful, have a great vacation!
