We visited WDW this past May during Memorial Day week and it was very busy and hot. We are planning another trip with our 5 year old and mother in law May 7-May 15 2010 how will the crowds be during this time along with the weather?

Hi Sara!  I wish it was possible to know what the Florida weather was going to be like when we plan our vacations.  Last May I also visited and endured the record rains and this past October was lucky enough to be there for some record heat!  Find out when I will be there and plan not to join me and you will probably have super weather!

Early May tends to reach high temps that range from the low to mid 80's so it is not super hot but you can tell summer is approaching quickly.  Generally, the daily rain storms haven't arrived that make the humidity unbearable but you never know as I experienced this past year.  May attendance is considered a moderate or average crowd meaning you will find lines at the rides but they are manageable with use of single lines and Fast Passes.  Be sure and take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours for the resort guests in the parks.
