    Julie from NJ Asked

We visited WDW last year and the DAS card was great for my daughter who has ADHD/SPD. I've heard now this is done through the MagicBand and not a card. What if we choose not to do a ride? Any other changes we should keep in mind during planning?

Greetings, Julie and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We benefit from all the inclusive experiences afforded us with Autism and Cognitive Disabilities Services at Walt Disney World Resort which enable our family to make long-lasting, unique vacation memories.

Disney Parks Disability Access Service is offered, and as you already know is currently be connected to the MagicBands.

Upon entry into any Disney Resort Theme Parks:

-please go to Guest Relations to discuss this service with a Cast Member and be sure to take everyone in your travel party with you, including your daughter
-if the Cast Member suggests the use of Disney's Disability Access Service (DAS) then a photo of your daughter will be taken and all information for your (DAS) will be stored on the  MagicBands of everyone in your travel party
-to obtain a return time please go with your daughter to the Cast Member attendant at the specific attraction (on our most recent visit, there were times where I could go alone and times where my son had to be with us for obtaining a return time, I cannot explain the reason)
-upon arrival at your return time attraction everyone in your travel party, including you daughter must be in attendance

The information for attraction return time will be included with your FastPass+ selections in your My Disney Experience and available for viewing at any FastPass+ Kiosk.

I hope this information helps you out, Julie and wish you a magical vacation.
