Have visited numerous times but planned. We may have a free day, if our flight goes as planned. We would buy tickets at that time. Thinking about visiting Epcot. We have bands. Should we bring them? We won't have FastPasses. Any suggestions??

    Dear Julie,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning for your unplanned trip! That sounds like so much fun, to be spontaneous if you can!

I think Epcot sounds like an awesome choice! There will be lots of options for attractions and dining, depending on what you would like to do. I would first give the same advice that I would give if you were making a planned trip - I would definitely arrive as early as you can! Additionally, I would try to purchase tickets and set FastPass+ selections as early as possible also, but I understand that might not be possible depending on how much time you will have when you make the decision.

You can absolutely bring your MagicBands, but you don't necessarily need them if you are tight on packing space already. The tickets that you plan to purchase can be used to access the parks and FastPass+ selections.

Depending on your family's interests, I would prioritize Soarin', which everyone loves, and definitely Spaceship Earth! If the lines are not too bad, head over to Frozen Ever After and also to Test Track as well. There are typically many options for meals at Epcot, so you could take a look at My Disney Experience that day to check for Advanced Dining Reservations. If you would rather have a Quick-Service meal, I highly recommend Tangierine Cafe in the Morocco Pavilion, if that's to your family's taste. Those are just a few suggestions, but I hope you have a fantastic day!

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
