We visited last year and bought park tickets with "No Expiration" feature. Trying to plan trip for 9/2011 and don't find way to add a dining plan to my room reservation. How do I do this or compare costs?

    Hi Kimberly,

I have been in this situation before.  What I have learned is that in order to add the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) to a resort reservation, you must also add at least one day of theme park tickets for each member of your party.  This can still be a good value, especially since you have the `no expiry`option on the tickets you previously purchased (and you can save them for the future).

To compare the prices on this, call 407-WDISNEY.  The cast members there will price out your trip any number of ways you ask them to.  I would ask them to price it three ways:
    1) resort only
    2) resort plus ONE basic theme park ticket for each person in the family (a base ticket with no extra features)
    3) resort plus one basic theme park ticket per person plus the Disney Dining Plan

This process should get you the dollar comparison you are looking for.

Kimberly, please give me a shout if we can provide any further information.  Have a magical vacation!
