In 2013 we visited Disney World the week of Veterans Day. It wasnt crowded at all We will be visiting for our third time in 2015 and are planning on coming Saturday through Thanksgiving and leave that Sunday. Too crowded or manageable most of the time

    Hi Amanda:

Like many popular family destinations, Disney World tends to be more crowded when schools are out of session.  Since most schools in the US are closed starting the Wednesday or Wednesday afternoon of the week you are planning to visit, you can expect to notice more crowds as your week progresses, so my best advice would be to make sure you take in the most important experiences earlier in your visit.

I've traveled to Disney World during Thanksgiving week before, and while crowded, it's still manageable, especially if you follow these simple tips: (1) use FastPass+, Disney's free service that gives you a ride return time so you can enjoy the rest of the theme park, (2) arrive at the park early when the crowds are smaller and lines are shorter, and (3) utilize Extra Magic Hours, if staying on property.

    Enjoy your vacation.
