We visited Disney world in November 2015, a time that is usually quite slow. It was packed and not so much fun. Any recommendations on a good time to go that is a bit slower?

    Hi Gina!

Thanks for your question. It is a good one and something that many people wonder about. Although it is very difficult to accurately predict crowd size at Walt Disney World, it usually seem to follow school calendars fairly closely. School holidays are usually among the busier times and the closer you get to those, crowds increase. My family likes to visit during early Spring (February/March) and early Fall (September/October) although there have been times we have been surprised by a large crowd or two even then.

To deal with the crowds, no matter their size, my advice would be to stay at a Disney Resort if at all possible so you can take advantage of Extra Magic Hours. Be sure to choose your FastPass+ experiences and book Advanced Dining Reservations, as well. That way, you have a specific plan that will stay in place no matter how many other people are visiting the Parks that day.

Please come back if we can help you with any other planning tips and advice. Have a magical day!
