    Dawn from PA Asked

We would like to visit the summer of 2015 since we can't take our daughter out of school. Which is a better month or week for crowds or deals?

    Hi Dawn,

Now that some of my children are in Junior High and High School, it has also become more difficult for them to miss school for a family vacation.  Therefore visiting Walt Disney World during spring break or the summer months has been increasingly popular with my family.  I can assure you that although there are more Guests in the summer months, it is still as MAGICAL as ever!

I like using Touring Plans to help me plan my vacation dates and I have found they have a very good crowd calendar.  Touring Plans is a paid subscription that is not affiliated with the Walt Disney World Corporation.  Their fee is small and they take into consideration local events when making park recommendations and estimating the crowd levels.

The schools in my region usually get out in mid to late May and my family has found that we enjoy the temperatures in late May much more than the temperatures in August.  Touring Plans has been a good resource to help me plan exact dates and also which park to visit on each day of our vacation.

Sometimes the Special Offers available helps me decide upon a specific vacation date or tweak my existing choice just a bit in order to take advantage of a current offer.  Special Offers are released periodically, so if you are interested you should bookmark the previously linked page and check back from time to time.

I hope this information helps you plan your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.  Please let us know if you have any further questions, we are happy to help you with all of your vacation planning questions.

    Blessings,
