    Turkessa from TX Asked

Want to visit Disney World for the first time with my daughter. I was told to wait until she is at least 48 to 50 inches tall to ride all the rides, in all parks. Do you recommend the same thing?

    Hello, Turkessa!

Planning that first visit to Walt Disney World Resort is just as exciting for the parent as it is for a Mouseketeer or Princess. My little guy's first visit was well before he was able to crawl or walk and because many attractions do not have a height requirement, he had the opportunity experience lots of rides. To see how many attractions your Princess can experience at her present height, take a look at this Disney Parks Blog post, which highlights attractions by height requirement. I think you will find that even if she is not quite 48 inches tall, there are plenty of rides to enjoy, not mention all the characters to meet and shows to see! If there is an attraction that Mom or Dad wants to experience, and your daughter is not quite tall enough for during this visit, you are welcome to use Rider Switch. This complimentary service allows one adult to wait with the child while the other takes in the experience, and then they switch places, so both parents get a turn!

I hope this helps in your decision, and you soon begin planning your daughter’s first visit. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance!
