    Donald from NC Asked

I am going to visit a close friend in Florida and he wants to that my family of 14 to Disneyworld and he thinks he can get a Florida ticket for the complete group. But my family and grandkids live in NC. Is he correct? Thanks

Hi, Donald!  Florida residents are often offered discounted theme park passes, but these passes are only good for Florida residents.  In my experience, most of the time an adult ticket is purchased with a Florida resident discount, the adult has to show either a Florida drivers license or a Florida state identification card.  I have been with my in-laws recently when they purchased tickets, and both had to show their Florida ID card.

There is no identification necessary for children.

There are occasionally other discounts available - like through AAA.  You might want to look into other alternatives to see if you can make things a bit more affordable.

How wonderful that you will all get to go to Walt Disney World together!  It sounds like an awesome time!
