We will be vising WDW 12/22-12/29 with 3 girls 4,9 and 10. This will be our 2nd trip to disney, but the first at Christmas. I want Santa to leave stockings for the kids on Christmas morning...any suggestions?

    Hello, Carrie,

We have celebrated a handfuls of Christmas mornings at Walt Disney World; they are such treasured memories for us!  To help keep our holiday traditions, we brought along our Christmas stockings that we hung by using 3M Command Hooks since they are easy to use/remove without damaging the walls. We once even brought a 3 foot tree and decorations, but have now gone more simple with a tiny tree that is less than one foot.  Prior to our trip, I sent a package of all of our Christmas morning surprises to our resort that we then snuck into the room (it will be held at Bell Services) when our children were pre-occupied.  And with that, we were set for Christmas morning!

If you'd like, Disney Florist can also arrange for in-room surprises, and we've also used www.giftsofalifetime.com for a holiday scavenger hunt.

If you'd like to read more about Christmas at WDW, you can do an internet search for Spending Christmas at Walt Disney World? Things to Think About. Moms Panelist Erin wrote about her experiences and shared lots of tips.

I hope this helps with your planning; please let us know if you have any further questions.
