how you get to view the main resorts if you are not a registered guest? We tried to go into the contemporary, Polynesian and guard wouldn't let us in bc we werent registered guests, is there something specific you need to tell them so they will let you in

    Hi, Ashley!

Not to worry. Guests who are not staying at a Walt Disney World resort or who don't have dining reservations at that resort cannot park in the resorts' parking lots. That does not mean, however, that those Guests won't have access to view the resorts themselves.

For the resorts you mention in your question, I would head to Magic Kingdom. Once outside the bag search area, in front of the park gates, head to the Resort Monorail (just to the left) and board the next monorail. You'll be able to access all three resorts which are adjacent to the monorail line, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. We like to sample the dining options at various resorts as well as check out the unique charm of each resort as well. Even shopping varies from resort to resort, so plan to see more than just one.

Again, if you were trying to access one of these resorts by car, the issue was parking it at the resort, rather than your touring of the resort itself.

In short, try again using the monorail, Ashley; you'll have so much fun!
