We are veterans going to WDW but we will take out first trip to Disneyland California January 11. They still have the old fashion Fastpass. How many can you get at once? Will I be able to do everything? I know WDW had the same system years ago but forgot.

    Hi, Lena!

If you were familiar with the "Legacy" (paper) FastPass system at Walt Disney World, then you be just fine when you head to the Disneyland Resort and use FASTPASS. It is like riding a bike - it will all come back to you in a jiffy! It is amazing how quickly we got used to MagicBands and FastPass+ at Walt Disney World and planning ahead for attractions. But, it is kind of fun to be spontaneous at Disneyland and seeing where the day takes you.

Just to review! Go to the FASTPASS distribution machine for your desired attraction. Insert your admission ticket, and you will receive your FASTPASS ticket with return time. Remember you must return during your 1 hour window of time to enjoy this attraction. You can have 1 FASTPASS at a time, and your return ticket will state when you can get your next FASTPASS. There is no charge to use the FASTPASS service.

If you want to avoid running all around the parks for your FASTPASS tickets, you can upgrade to Disney MaxPass which will allow you to make your FASTPASS selections on your smartphone with the Disneyland app. There is a per day/per guest fee to use Disney MaxPass, and selections are based on availability.

If you have any questions, friendly Cast Members will be happy to help you. Oh, and one more thing - no MagicBands at the Disneyland Resort, so tapping your darling band from Walt Disney World won't get you too far, so you can leave your Florida MagicBands at home!

Enjoy your visit to the west coast House of Mouse!
