We will be vacationing with a 4 and 6 year old who CAN NOT swim on their own. Is it worth a trip to the water park or would we benefit more from the pool at the resort?

There are life vests available at the water parks. But a 4 and 6 year old who can not swim would mostly be limited to the kiddie areas of the water parks. These are fun, particularly at Blizzard Beach, with some small slides and mini raft rides, but you have to weigh what would probably be two hours of fun versus the more than $100 cost for your family of entering a water park.

Also, another thing to consider would be which resort you are staying at. If you are at a value resort, with their very basic pools with no slides, then going to a water park would probably be a big bonus for your kids. If you are staying at the Yacht and Beach Club with it's giant pool complex with sand and slides, then they'd probably be just as happy to stay at the hotel.
