    Jordan from MI Asked

Hello! I have a vacation scheduled for the end of December/beginning of January and am wondering when show times are usually solidified? Trying to plan out FP selections before our 60 days, but want to know when the schedule times are more set in stone!

    Hi Jordan,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How wonderful to plan a trip for the end of one year and beginning of another. What a magical place to celebrate memories already made and memories yet to come!

Although I cannot give an exact date when every show time will be solidified, I can say that we have always had enough information to make our Fast Pass+ selections 60 days in advance. If you have not done so already, check the Entertainment List for available show times. Also, be sure you have a My Disney Experience Account. In that account, you can go to "My Itinerary," then "Add Plans."

Using the "Add Plans" feature, you can add parks, parades, fireworks or character experiences that you hope to do. On our last visit, I also made a note for our Caring for Giants tour reservation. Just remember that adding plans in My Disney Experience is not a reservation. Once you add your Fast Pass+ selections, your itinerary will then include the activities you have prioritized for each day.

Since we typically do our Fast Pass+ selections in the morning, we have afternoons free to use our "rolling" fourth Fast Pass+, go see the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade or the Movie It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party. In Epcot, we love to hear the Voices of Liberty. Although the musical selections have been different on our visits, the singing is just amazing!

Finally, Jordan, if a schedule is not yet available for the specific dates of our visit; I check the times for another week and use that as a guide.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
