We have a vacation planned this June and are staying at the Boardwalk. When should you link your WDW tickets to your My Disney Experience? Is there any issue by linking them to early?

    Hey Christopher!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us your great question about linking Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account.

Christopher, I have a summer Walt Disney World Resort vacation planned and my Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets are already linked to my Disney account. There is no issue with linking your theme park tickets to your Disney account early.

In fact, I recommend you do so! By doing so, you will know they are already linked and ready for you to make your FastPass+ selections in April. Remember, as a Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guest, you are eligible to make FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance of your check-in date — for the entire length of your vacation. In order to start making your FastPass+ selections, your theme park ticket must be linked to your account.

By the way, congratulations on your upcoming Disney’s BoardWalk Inn stay! I absolutely love the Disney’s BoardWalk area. Beyond the sites, sounds and fun the real magic lies in the fact that it is walking distance from both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Christopher, if you have any additional questions, please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again. We are always here to help you plan the “practically perfect” Disney Parks vacation.
