Hi. We're going on vacation to Orlando and spending 4 days @ All Star Music in Disney, we have tickets for the parks for 2 days, its our 2nd time there. We have a 14 yr old son and a 11 yr old daughter. Park suggestions? Other outside act. suggestions?

Hi, Clara! What a great time you all are going to have for your four fun-filled days! Here's what I suggest:

    • Make sure that whatever two days you have planned for your park days are just that -- no traveling or visiting other WDW areas on the days you have set aside to visit the parks.
    • Secondly, head to the Calendar pages of the various theme parks to determine park hours, entertainment schedules and Extra Magic Hours. You'll need to plan out each day carefully to take advantage of all your opportunities to see and do!
    • My children who are similar ages as yours would tell you to focus your attention on the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, and I would tell you to purchase one-day tickets in advance for each park (instead of park hopping).
    • Next, consider planning your Advanced Dining Reservations for when you're not at the parks and at various resorts -- it gives you a sense that you're experiencing WDW without actually buying a ticket.
    • Lastly, consider the wide array of Recreation & Activities available throughout WDW for your "off" days such as -- miniature golf, boating, horseback riding, bike rentals, special tours or DisneyQuest.

There's so much to see and do outside the parks that our family has spent a week at WDW without stepping foot into a theme park! Let me know if I can help you plan more. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
