Will the vacation club  let the vacation club members take advantage of the dining discount that are offer to the non vacation club members?

    Hi Michael!

This is a question a lot of Members have, so I’m glad you asked us here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The free dining promotion that is sometimes available, is offered as part of package that includes a non-discounted resort room. Disney Vacation Club Members who are staying on points rather than booking a room package would therefore not be eligible for the free dining promotion.

Members who wanted to take advantage of free dining are welcome to book the special offer, which would include non-discounted resort room, separately from using their points, just like any other Guest. You could then save your Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points to use for a second trip, or bank them into the next Use Year to take a bigger vacation in the future.

At this time, free dining has not been announced for 2015, and it may or may not be available. If this is something you would be interested in, I would keep an eye on the Walt Disney World Special Offers page in the spring to see if it will be offered. Weather you dine on the Mouse, or use your Disney Vacation Club Membership, you are sure to have a magical Disney vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Wishing you Membership Magic!
