Our vacation got changed up a lot, and now it is just me and my middle son (age 22) vs. entire clan coming down from Sept 19 - 28. What is something really "cool" we could do, so he isn't bummed that he is stuck hanging with his old mom?

Hi Linda! You and your son will have a blast, creating magical memories that will last a lifetime. I have way too many ideas and we have limited space, but here are a few for you to check out, all of which will make you the coolest mom!

    - Archery lessons at Fort Wilderness Campground. This is a super fun experience for all ages and a great opportunity to see the campground.
    - Surf lessons at Typhoon Lagoon. This early morning activity is awesome, and he'll be so impressed when you ride the wave!
    - The Wilderness Backtrail Adventure at Fort Wilderness is a fun tour where, after a quick lesson, you'll be riding your own Segways.
    - Head to the Animal Kingdom and join the private Wild Africa Trek safari adventure.
    - Downtown Disney is a family favourite. Check out the Raglan Road Irish Pub, or go bowling at Splittsville or enjoy dinner and a movie at the theatres.
    - On a sunny day, go to the Contemporary Resort and surprise him with a parasailing adventure. You can also rent speedboats and cruise the waters.
    - Spend an evening at the Boardwalk. There's lots of entertainment and fun carnival games.
    - Get a ParkHopper pass for your theme park tickets and go on all of the roller coasters in one day.

Hope something in this list appeals to you. Write us back with any other questions as you plan your magical mother son vacation!
