Hello, We have our vacation booked for October 2017 and planning underway. We have the Dining Plan, but I was wondering which locations use up more than one table service at one sitting? Also how long transportation on complementary methods takes?

    Hi James,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Planning is underway and the excitement mounting!

The Disney Dining Plans offer great value to my family. With the dining plans, remember that the number of meal and snack entitlements are based on the number of nights for your stay. For example, if you are staying for five nights/six days, you will get 10 meal entitlements (5 quick-service and 5 table-service) on the Disney Dining Plan. I always make dining reservations with this in mind so that we have one meal remaining on the day we checkout of the resort.

Typically, Signature Restaurants require two table-service meal entitlements per person age 3-years and over on the dining plan. We also find the Dining Locations list useful in determining which restaurants require two table-service entitlements. We dine at more signature restaurants when we have the Deluxe Dining Plan. Since the Deluxe Dining Plan provides three meals per day, we have more meals on that plan.

Buses, monorails and water taxis! The Resort Transportation options at the Walt Disney World Resort are great. Transportation times vary depending on the location, mode of transportation and crowd levels. Generally, I suggest guests allow at least an hour and a half to get from the resort to a Fast Pass+ selection or dining reservation. Be sure to download the My Disney Experience Mobile App. It has a nifty "directions" feature that provides directions and estimated transit times between locations.

James, I wish you many magical memories on your trip!
