Are there usually two showings of Happily Ever After when MK has evening Extra Magic Hours? Calendar is showing EMH, but only one show at 9 pm. Trying to decide if we should get Fast Pass or if we can wait for 2nd show. Thanks!

Hello, Lynn, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help with your upcoming vacation. I adore Extra Magic Hours because I can zip around from attraction to attraction with little wait and plenty of space to move around.
There are never two full fireworks shows a night, even with Extra Magic Hours - loading those bad boys up can be quite the task. What you will see about 45 minutes after the start of Happily Ever After (approximately 9pm, but please check your Times Guide at the park) is the Once Upon a Time Projection Show (approximately 9:45pm), featuring Mrs. Potts telling bedtime stories full of imagination and heart to her son, Chip. There is a small blast at the finale that may have you thinking it was another full show, but it is it’s own little experience.
I would attempt to snag a viewing spot with a snack in the Central Hub or on Main Street, U.S.A. by 8:30pm, because crowds are gathering early for this new fireworks spectacular. I bring some Dollar Store glow sticks and we purchase popcorn and water cups to entertain us during the wait, which is always well worth it for both shows, if we can keep my son up for the second entertainment option. I hope you have a magical visit, and keep your eyes open during Happily Ever After; you may see my favorite fairy high in the air! ~ Lindsey P.
