We usually go to WDW in mid Sept. This year, we are thinking of going in mid June. Would we encounter a lot more crowds during this time in June compared to our usual Sept? We're not early birds so arriving at the park before it opens is not an option.

    Greetings Nancy!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  You are very wise to consider the crowd levels when planning a Walt Disney World vacation. The parks are usually the most crowded when kids are out of school for holidays and summer break. Historically, September is one of the least crowded times of the year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort; whereas, the crowd levels are traditionally much higher in mid-June. That being said, my family visited Magic Kingdom Park on a Saturday last July and was pleasantly surprised by how much we were able to experience that day. By arriving right at park opening, we were able to get to most of our favorite attractions before lunch. I do understand your preference of getting a late morning start while on vacation. By utilizing Disney FastPass+ service and having a park touring plan, I do think you would still enjoy a Walt Disney World vacation in mid-June.

I hope this information is helpful in making the best decision for your family. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Nancy!

    Happy Planning,
