DH & I are usually all about a bargain but decided to do Disney "big." We booked the Boardwalk Inn for Sept. Our frugal side wonders if we should downsize. What are the advantages to a deluxe? What would we miss by staying at moderate or even

My husband and I are constantly battling our "frugal" sides, too.  Pesky, isn't it? ;)

There are quite a few advantages to staying deluxe, but depending upon your vacation preferences they may or may not be worth the splurge for you.  The perks of staying in a deluxe resort are:
    -on site sit-down restaurant
-queen sized beds as opposed to double
-simplified transportation (monorail, walking distance, boat) at some of the deluxe resorts
    -quaint theming details
    -upgraded pools
    -refrigerator in your room
-most deluxe resort rooms sleep five as opposed to four

As you can see, there are a number of amenities that come hand-in-hand with staying deluxe.  It's not worth it for everyone, though.  To help decide if it's worth it for you, you should consider how much time you plan to spend exploring your resort/hanging out by the pool.  Also, if you are not patient types, you might find it's convenient to be able to use a form of transportation other than the bus.  Good luck with your decision!
