What are the usual hours of operation during the week before Christmas? Also- usual Christmas parade times? World of color? I am trying to make dining reservations that will work around those events. Thanks!

    Hi, Tracy!

I'm glad to hear you're planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort during the holidays. The seasonal decorations, events, merchandise, attractions and food items make The Happiest Place on Earth even more delightful!

While theme park crowd levels will likely be high the week leading up to Christmas, don’t let your excitement be lessened! Park hours will be long (likely 8 a.m. to midnight at Disneyland Park and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Disney California Adventure Park, in addition to Extra Magic Hours if you’re staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel) and the entertainment schedule will be bustling. You should have lots of opportunities to experience the “must-dos” on your list. Be sure to utilize Disney’s FASTPASS service when available to optimize your time, particularly for the most popular attractions and for World of Color—Winter Dreams (there should be two, or even three, shows per night after dusk). Exact operating hours and entertainment schedules are usually released about 6 weeks in advance, so keep an eye on Disneyland.com in the next week or two for official times.

I hope this helps, Tracy, and that you have a wonderfully pixie-dusted holiday visit to the Disneyland Resort!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
