If we are using Rider Swap for Test Track, will the too short child be able to participate in the pre-ride Design a Car activity and then get off the line prior to the actual ride so that he doesn't feel totally left out?

    Hi Eileen!

My youngest son was finally tall enough to experience Test Track with us this past May.  So I can understand your concern about not wanting a child to feel left out.  Cast Members will be measuring your child before you enter the line and anyone who has not met the 40 inch height requirement will not be allowed to enter the queue.   However, the waiting adult can take your child into the After Market Shop which is the gift shop that is attached to the attraction.   Walk through the shop and you will come to the after-ride area filled with photo opportunities, games and hands-on creative areas your child can enjoy while they wait.   I know my youngest mouseketeer used to love seeing all the cars, and enjoyed watching all the activities while we waited for the rest of our crew.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel today.   Just think that when your little one is finally tall enough for the attraction it will be so much fun for them to create a custom car that they actually get to test on the ride.
