    Tawn from PA Asked

Hi! Using QS/TS for meals at the parks, eating breakfast in our room. Would like to mail food (cereal, pop tarts, etc) to our resort so we won't have to pack it. Do we mail it to our resort with our name and arrival date on them? How would we get it?

What's up, Tawn? We do breakfast frequently in our rooms too. I'd like to say that I whip up beignets while I'm shaving, but that would be both unrealistic and gross.

Instead, we usually have a loaf of bread, a jar of peanut butter and a box of raisins that we go to town with. We usually just bring it in our suitcase, but if you're pressed for space, you can easily mail things to your Disney resort. Here's how:

On the package you'll want to include the following:
    • Name of the resort
    • c/o Your name, confirmation number and arrival date
    • Resort street address
    • City, State  Zip
The third party sides wdwinfo.com and AllEars.net have each resort's mailing address.

In terms of timing, mail that puppy so it arrives as much as 72 hours prior to arrival. The hotel will hold the package for you behind the check-in desk. They'll note that you have a package to pick up on your reservation information so that when you check in, they'll grab the package and bring it out for you. If you have package tracking capabilities, I usually call the resort a few hours after the package arrives just to be sure it gets linked to my reservation number.

If you're staying at a convention resort, there is a small surcharge to pay for shipping/receiving packages. Otherwise, it's free!
