When using the Magical Express back to MCO the usual pick-up time is 3 hrs before your flight's departure. I can get our boarding passes at POR. Is there any way to push back our ME departure? I'd rather have an extra hour in the parks than at MCO!

    Mary,

There really isn't a way to push back your Magical Express ("ME") departure time.  ME timing is set up to make absolutely sure that you get to the airport on time, which means that in many cases you are there a little earlier than necessary.  Keep in mind that ME may make a few stops at other resorts before heading to MCO, and the security lines at MCO can be very crowded and slow.  Considering both of these factors, sometimes it isn't such a bad idea to get get picked-up 3 hours before your flight's departure time.

If you still want to delay your departure time, another option is to use a private towncar service.  It will cost you extra, but it provides you a lot more flexibility.  If you do a little research on-line you should be able to find recommendations for reliable WDW area towncar services.  The towncar services that I have heard good things about are "Sunray", and "Wheels 2 Wings."

    Hope that helps.
