    Megan from PA Asked

If I am using the disney transportation from airport to disney world do I need a car seat?

    Hi there, Megan!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for stopping by with your Walt Disney World Resort question. I’m so glad to hear you’re planning a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Disney’s Magical Express is a great transportation option for Guests traveling to the resort from the airport, and my own family has used it often. Child safety seats (such as car seats and booster seats) for infants and young children are not recommended for use on the motorcoaches and aren’t required by law while riding in transportation of this type.  Not all motorcoaches have seat belts, and the seat belts that may be present might not properly secure your child’s car seat. Children are welcome to sit on an adult's lap or occupy their own seat if they are old enough to do so safely. If you’ll have a car seat with you, it can be stowed in the storage compartment underneath the motorcoach.

I hope this information helps you plan, Megan, and that your dream vacation is perfectly pixie-dusted! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have as your trip draws near.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
