We are using the Dining Program and we would like to split up for dinner. 1 parent and 1 child one restaurant and the other child and parent at a different restaurant. Can this be booked online? I have tried and it says I can't.

    Hi Carrie,

Thanks for visiting us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How awesome you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort this coming spring. You do not want to miss the 2017 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.

The Disney Dining Plans give you a set of meal entitlements per person, per night of stay. You can use them as you please between the time you Check-In to your Disney Resort Hotel, until midnight of your Check-Out date. Now, to answer your question, you can absolutely split up and have one parent and child visit one restaurant while the other parent and other child visit a different one.

Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance. When you make a reservation online, you can indicate the size of your party and can select who will be attending. You cannot hold multiple reservations that are near each other, so in your case, each parent must make their own separate reservation and not add the other member to it. You can also speak to a Cast Member for additional help at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.

One last tip: be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app, which will help you make reservations not just for dining, but for FastPass+ as well. See you real soon!

    Ricardo.
