We will be using DAC for autistic son. When we enter a ride using a scheduled fastpass, can we also have his card marked at that time for a return ride later in the day or do we need to come back later to get his card marked?

    Hi Jaynee ~

I have found that it can vary depending on the Cast Member at the entrance of an attraction as to whether or not they will issue you a Disability Access Service Card (DAS) return time when entering during your FastPass+ window. Because they have discretion, some Cast Members were happy to give a return time for the DAS when we entered. Other Cast Members requested that we wait until we finished the attraction. In those instances we sent an adult over right afterwards to get a DAS return time so my son didn't think we were getting in line again. That would have caused a complete meltdown because he doesn't understand walking up to an attraction and thinking he was being turned away.

Hopefully you will see a Cast Member that will do it for you as you enter but if not, pop back to the entrance afterwards to get your return time.

Please keep in mind that the DAS is still fairly new and all of the Cast Members I've encountered at Guest Relations tell me they are still tweaking the system so there may be changes along the way.

As always, we appreciate all of your questions and we look forward to hearing from you again. It is our pleasure to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
