Have you used the photo pass? If so was it worth it?

    Yes and Yes!

We always grab a PhotoPass when we enter our first theme park during our Walt Disney World vacation. PhotoPass photographers are usually greeting guests as you enter the parks and in front of major icons (Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom, for example). They are also stationed at many character Meet ‘n’ Greets as well. Once your photo is taken, they will hand your card to you. Keep it handy to give to each photographer that takes your photo throughout your trip.

For example, when my son is posing with characters, I will hand the PhotoPass to the photographer and then proceed to take my own photos. If our whole family wants to snuggle with Pooh, then I usually just let the PhotoPass photographer capture the moment, although often they (or a Cast Member nearby) will ask if I want a shot with my camera too.

Remember, it’s free to get the photos taken and there is no obligation to purchase photos. I enjoy the ability to come home after our vacation and log on to the website. At my leisure, I can then order the photos that would make great keepsakes.

You’ll find photographers in the theme parks, water parks, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique as well as at select dining locations.

It’s a great way to get photos of the whole family!

Record your PhotoPass ID number (write it down, email it to yourself or take a picture of it with your camera) and if you should lose it, your photos can still be retrieved.
