We used MB's in May 2014 and still have them. Coming this Sept. AAA told me to link everything to the old bands, but Disney Experience just had us customize new ones. Will our resort and dining ressies and tickets for Sept. be on the new ones, not the old

    Hi Jaynee,

You can actually have all your tickets, dining, and FastPass+ reservations, as well as your room access and charging privileges linked to either, or both, sets of MagicBands. It's really up to you to decide. Your room/ticket/reservation information is not stored on the actual Bands, instead it is stored on Disney's cloud. The Bands are just a way to access the cloud, they don't hold your data.

I've now been on half a dozen WDW trips with MagicBands. I have them all active, so they can be used interchangeably, but if you prefer to just work with one, you can arrange that as well.

To sort this all out, log into your account at DisneyWorld.com. Under the "My Disney Experience" tab, go to the "My Account" section and click on "MagicBands and Cards." From there you can click on any single MagicBand (or RFID Key to the World card, if you have one), to manage its status. Assume that all Bands are active unless you choose to click the "deactivate" button. (This is also great if you happen to lose a Band while at DisneyWorld. You can deactivate the missing Band on the fly using your own smartphone, tablet or computer. Guest Services can also help you with this and issue you a replacement.)

Any active band can be used for all functions at all times. As I said, you can have more than one active. I have many active so I coordinate them with my outfits. :-)

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
