We have used DME twice before but I can't remember on the return trip back to MCO where we are dropped off at and on which level. Im thinking we were dropped off on level 1 and had to go up to 3 for security. Is that right?

    Howdy Amanda!

Welcome back.  It's so nice to see a familiar face return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask another great question about traveling to Walt Disney World.  It's my pleasure to assist you today.

Disney's Magical Express has one drop off location for all airlines.   This drop off area is not where Guests would normally go when they are being dropped off by a personal friend.   You will be dropped off down near where you go when you arrive at Orlando International Airport to board the Magical Express.   You will then take a quick escalator or elevator ride up to the check in counters.   Amanda, I encourage you to use Resort Airline Check-In Service if the particular airline you are flying participates.  This complimentary service will allow you to check-in for your flight, receive your boarding passes and even check your luggage right at your Disney Resort hotel.    When you arrive at the airport you can simply head right to your gate.   Isn't that wonderful?

I hope this has helped.  Please pop in again anytime you think of something else we can answer.  We love to lend a helping hand every chance we get.
