    Curtin from NV Asked

Have any of you used the Disney company to set up a special B-day surprise gift package in the room while you were out? I have a 9 yr. old and she will be in WDW for her B-day. I would love if she got a special note from Mickey or Minnie? Does it exist?

Hi Curtin!  I recently returned from a Disney visit and had arranged for the Celebration Package for my three year old grandson to be done to his room.  It was an incredible surprise for him and the elements to that package were with him the entire visit.

This package contained the large Mickey, special blanket with his name on it (which he wouldn't go to bed unless he had it with him), balloon, autograph book with a message to him, special Disney character picture with a message just for him, popcorn bowl set with the best Mickey rice krispie treats set inside, personalized Mickey ears, and a fun pennant that was hanging from a window.  I think the best part of this package were the Mickey feet that were placed on the floor that stayed there the entire visit and my grandson daily hopped from one to the other talking about Mickey Mouse.
All of these items were delivered to our room during a time when we told them we would be away from the resort.  It was a great surprise when we returned after dinner one night.

There are other packages to choose from and the best way to figure out what is best for your daughter is by calling the Disney florist at 407-827-3505.  You can also see some of the options by going to www.disneyflorist.com but don't hesitate to call to discuss making your own personal package.  They are wonderful to work with and very helpful!
