    Dawn from OH Asked

There will be 9 of us vacationing at WDW in September. We are now in the process of planning which resteraunts we would like to eat at. How will we know which resteraunts can accommodate a table for 9?

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Dawn! We are just as excited as you are about your vacation at Walt Disney World Resort! One of my favorite things to do is Advanced Dining Reservations! So many places to eat, so much yummy food choices!

There are three ways to do this. You may use the website to look for a dining location that has availability for the date you have in mind and the nine people in your party. The filters will allow you to find results based on the type of dining experience, guest rating, price, and cuisine you are looking for. If you are on one of the dining plans offered, you can also see if the reservation you want to make is accepted under your meal plan.

Another way you can make a reservation is by using the My Disney Experience app, just go to the "My Plans" section and tap on the Reserve Dining icon, and you will be prompted to select the number of people in your party,  choose a date from a calendar, and a time of day or meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner). Once you enter that information, you will get all the available results to choose from.

Finally, if you prefer to do so, you may speak to a Dining Reservations Cast Member on the phone by calling (407) 939-3463 and ask them to help you book a table. Remember that certain dining locations and experiences are very popular so it is advisable to book a table up to 180 days in advance, especially with a moderately large party like yours.

Dawn, I hope this information is helpful. I wish you a magical trip!

    Happy Disney Dining!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
