upon arriving at orlando airport, are we talking about a 2-3 hour procedure to reach our resort? or is this a pretty swift process? we arrive at 10:35 am & are staying at art of animation. is a 2 pm reservation at t-rex do-able??? thanks!

    Hi Julia,

I think a 2 PM reservation is totally possible, but the "mom" in me has to remind you that so many things can happen. I think two to three hours to get off your flight and into your resort room is a good estimate. You have to walk through the airport to Disney's Magical Express. (I don't know about your family but we always have to make a bathroom stop!) Then you check in to Magical Express. You may have to wait a bit for a motorcoach. Once on the motorcoach it takes around thirty minutes to get to Walt Disney World. Once inside "The World" the timing depends on how many resort stops your motorcoach is going to make. I love it when our resort is the first stop!

Once you have arrived at your resort, you have to check in and if your room is ready you might want to take your carry on baggage to your room. If not, you can always leave any carry ons with Bell Services. Then you have to take transportation to Downtown Disney and walk to T-REX. When you write it all out, you can see that there are several events that can take longer than expected. That's not even taking any airline delays in to account!

All of that being said, I would make the 2 PM reservation and hope for the best. Sending you pixie dust for smooth, quick travels! Please let me know if I can help you with any other questions!

    wishing you a magical vacation,
