Can I upgrade my 5 day ticket to 5 day hopper ticket before I go to Walt Disney World?

    Hi WanJun!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are getting ready for a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and I'm happy to help you get ready for your trip. If you have already purchased your tickets, then you are well on your way with your plans. Be sure that you have them linked to your My Disney Experience account so you take advantage of the FastPass+ System. FastPass+ reservations will allow you to make three advanced reservations for attractions or Character Experiences in one theme park for each of your five ticketed days where you can bypass the attraction's Standby queue.

Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets can be upgraded after they are purchased to add the Park Hopper Option to them by visiting any theme park ticket window, Guest Relations location or the Lobby Concierge at any of the Disney Resort hotels. Unfortunately, once tickets are purchased you must visit one of these locations in person to add the Park Hopper Option and you cannot upgrade them prior to visiting Walt Disney World Resort.

However, when you are making your FastPass+ reservations, you are limited to making reservations in only one theme park per day. So you won't miss out on anything by waiting until you start your vacation to upgrade your tickets. In my experience, the upgrade process has been pretty quick, particularly if you can visit a Disney Resort hotel Lobby Concierge for your upgrade.

Please let us know if you have additional questions as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
